Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 16 July 2026

Welcome to Case Up Mobiles ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website (caseupmobiles.com), our in-store services, our doorstep repair service, and the sale of any goods or services by us. By booking a repair, visiting our store, making a purchase, or otherwise using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our services.

1. Who We Are

Case Up Mobiles

39 Commercial Street, Newport, NP20 1HP, United Kingdom

Phone: 01633 549755

Email: info@casupmobiles.com

2. Our Services

We provide repair services for phones, laptops, tablets and games consoles, including but not limited to screen replacement, battery replacement, port repair, water damage repair, and micro-soldering/board-level repair. We also sell new and refurbished mobile phones and accessories.

Services are available in-store at our Newport premises, and as a doorstep repair service where our technicians attend your home or workplace within our service area.

3. Quotes, Diagnosis and Pricing

  • Prices shown on our website are starting prices only ("from" prices). The final price depends on your specific device, model, and the fault diagnosed, and will be confirmed to you before any repair work begins.
  • A diagnostic assessment may be required to identify the fault and confirm a final price. In some cases this may involve opening the device.
  • We operate a No Fix, No Fee policy: if, after diagnosis, we are unable to repair your device, you will not be charged for the attempted repair. This does not apply to a diagnostic fee where one has been separately agreed and disclosed to you in advance, or to any parts already fitted where you decide not to proceed.
  • Quotes are valid for a reasonable period as stated at the time of quoting and may change if the device's condition changes before work begins (for example, further damage discovered during diagnosis).

4. Booking and Cancellation

  • Bookings can be made online, by phone, or in-store.
  • For doorstep repairs, please ensure someone is available at the agreed location and time. If access cannot be gained or the appointment needs to be rearranged with little notice, we may need to reschedule or apply a reasonable call-out charge, which we will make clear to you in advance.
  • You may cancel or reschedule a booking by contacting us. We ask for as much notice as possible.

5. Repair Process and Parts

  • We use a combination of premium quality parts, which may include OEM (original equipment manufacturer), OEM-equivalent, and high-quality aftermarket parts, depending on availability and your preference. Where relevant, we will discuss part options with you before proceeding.
  • Repairing a device with non-OEM parts, or opening a device for repair, may affect any remaining manufacturer warranty. This is outside of our control, and we are not responsible for any resulting loss of manufacturer warranty.
  • Some devices (particularly certain Apple devices) may display software warnings after a non-OEM part is fitted (for example, battery health or genuine parts notifications). This is a manufacturer software behaviour and does not indicate a fault with our repair.

6. Warranty

  • All repairs carried out by us are covered by a 90-day warranty from the date of repair, covering the specific fault repaired and the part(s) fitted by us, unless otherwise stated at the time of repair.
  • The warranty does not cover: subsequent accidental damage (including drops, cracks, or further liquid exposure), damage caused by unauthorised third-party repair or tampering after our repair, faults unrelated to the original repair, or normal wear and tear.
  • To make a warranty claim, please bring your device back to our Newport store along with proof of your original repair (such as a receipt or booking confirmation).
  • Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected by our warranty.

7. Data and Device Content

  • We strongly recommend that you back up all data on your device before any repair. While we take reasonable care during every repair, some repairs (particularly those involving water damage, board-level repair, or a device that will not power on) carry an inherent risk of data loss that is outside of our control.
  • We are not responsible for the loss of any data, photos, apps, settings, or other content stored on your device, except where such loss results directly from our negligence.
  • Please remove or disable Find My iPhone, screen locks, Google account locks, or similar security features before your appointment where possible, as these may prevent us from carrying out diagnosis or repair. We are not responsible for delays caused by security locks left in place.
  • We may need access to your device to carry out testing before and after repair (e.g. powering it on, testing the repaired function). We treat any content viewed during this process as confidential and do not access personal data beyond what is necessary to test the repair.

8. Uncollected Devices

Devices left with us for repair should be collected within 30 days of us notifying you that the repair is complete. If a device remains uncollected after 90 days and we have made reasonable attempts to contact you using the details you provided, we reserve the right to treat the device as abandoned and dispose of or recycle it in accordance with applicable law.

9. Sale of Goods (New and Refurbished Devices)

  • Where we sell you a new or refurbished device or accessory, it will be as described at the point of sale, of satisfactory quality, and fit for purpose, in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
  • Refurbished devices may show light signs of previous use (cosmetic wear) but will be fully tested and functional as described. Any known cosmetic grading will be explained to you at the point of sale.
  • Refurbished and new devices sold by us carry the warranty period stated to you at the time of purchase.
  • If you purchase online or otherwise at a distance (i.e. not in person, in-store), you have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, subject to the goods being unused and in their original condition. This right does not apply to in-store purchases made in person.

10. Payment

Payment for repairs is due on collection, once you are satisfied with the work carried out, unless otherwise agreed. Payment for device or accessory purchases is due at the point of sale. We accept the payment methods displayed in-store and on our website/booking system.

11. Liability

  • Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
  • Subject to the above, our total liability to you in connection with any repair or purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that specific repair or item.
  • We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profits, loss of business, or loss of data (save as set out in Section 7).

12. Website Use

  • The content of our website is for general information purposes only and may be updated by us at any time without notice.
  • You must not misuse our website by knowingly introducing viruses, attempting unauthorised access, or engaging in any activity that could damage or disrupt the website.
  • All content on this website, including text, images, and logos, is owned by or licensed to Case Up Mobiles and may not be reproduced without our permission.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. The current version will always be available on this page, with the "Last updated" date shown above.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

15. Disclaimer
